Filmmaker - Musician - Traveller
I'm Francesco Agostini and I live in Pesaro, a beautiful city on the Italian East-Coast, in Le Marche. I'm a professional videomaker since 2015. I like to create projects, being dynamic and collecting new inspirations constantly throughout reading and listening. I love telling stories. I'm extremely curious about new places and cultures that's why I'm a constant traveller. I play instruments and I sing since I was a child and music is by my side always, even during my trips when I'm with my Ukulele. I'm passionate and I love what I do. When I was 20 I travelled Europe and Russia on a van with my band Barely Awake. In 2014 I joined Apri Gli Occhi Senza Freni, a group that produces documentaries all over the world. In 2016 I released "Berber Tajine", a sport documentary in Morocco that had good feedbacks in festivals. In 2017 I directed "Run(d) for Freedom" with Francesco Furiassi. The story of an Iraqi girl, refugees in her own country that goes back home after the Isis occupation of her city. With Davide Pagnini I also composed the soundtrack for it. Between 2018 and 2019 I worked on "Footballization" a film about Palestinian refugees in Lebanon and their dreams for a better future throughout football. The movie will be distributed in Italian cinemas in Autumn 2019 with Mescalito Film. In 2019 I created "Cam in Travel" a project about travelling workshops of filmmaking, photography and storytelling all over the world with Giacomo Terracciano and Matteo Crescentini.
